It is hard to overstate the importance of whistleblowers in the SEC\u2019s enforcement efforts.<br \/>\nOn April 25, 2017, the SEC announced a <strong>$4 million payout to a whistleblower<\/strong> who provided industry-specific experience and expertise to the staff as they conducted their investigation.
