Morgan Securities LLC<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\/2023-184\">CBRE, Inc.<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/enforcement-litigation\/administrative-proceedings\/34-95138-s\">The Brink\u2019s Company<\/a>, for violating Rule 21F-17(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.\u00a0 This section of the Act prohibits companies from taking any action to limit communicating directly with the SEC concerning a possible securities law violation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a sign that this kind of violation will continue to be a focus area for the Enforcement Division, this May 22, 2026, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.gov\/enforcement-litigation\/administrative-proceedings\/34-105542-s\">Administrative Proceeding Summary<\/a> announced settled charges against Foot Locker, Inc. for using separation agreements that violated Rule 21F-17(a).\u00a0 The company entered into a cease and desist order and paid a $148,000 civil penalty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As always, your thoughts and comments are welcome!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the years the SEC\u2019s Enforcement Division has brought a number of cases against companies, including J.P.
